The Emir of Kano, His Highness, Alhaji Aminu Ado Bayero, has appointed four District Heads and elevated the status of six others.
Those elevated include: Malam Umar Sanusi from Bunun Kano to Dan Makwayon Kano, Malam Hamza Ibrahim Bayero, who was Dan Madamin Kano and now is the Danruwata and Malam Lamido Abubakar Bayero who was elevated from Yarima to Bunun Kano.
Others include; Alhaji Aminu Ahmad Sadiq from Zannan Kano to Dan Madamin Kano, Alhaji Magaji Galadima from Kachallan to Magayakin Kano and Alhaji Habibu Dankadai from Fagacin to Katikan Kano.
Addressing the appointees after a ceremony in his palace, the Emir of Kano, said the appointments were made on merit looking at the immense contributions of the appointees in the well being of people of the state.
The First Class Monarch further admonished them to be good ambassadors of the Kano Emirate ànd work with high sense of decurum, faithfulness, sincerity and fear of Allah.
Emir Aminu Ado Bayero also appointed Alhaji Nura Sunusi as Dan Darman Kano, Alhaji Sarki Hamidu as Barayan Kano, Alhaji Sayyadi Mahmud Yola as Fagacin Kano and Alhaji Belloe Idi as Kaigaman Kano
