Authentic chairman warns alleged impostor amidst Kaura Namoda group dispute

The Chairman of the Concerned Youths of Kaura Namoda and Birnin Magaji Federal Constituency, Zahraddeen Dahiru Usman, has firmly reiterated his position as the legitimate leader of the forum.

This declaration follows a recent letter from the group to President Bola Tinubu, the National Assembly, and security agencies, addressing the rising insecurity in their constituency.

However, a conflicting claim arose when Zahraddeen Dahiru Nakazalle posted a video on social media denying authorship of the letter and disputing Usman’s leadership.

In a statement signed by Usman and shared with journalists on Monday night, he condemned the actions of Nakazalle and unnamed individuals who falsely claim the chairmanship of the group.

“I, Zahraddeen Dahiru Usman (Saka Jiki ward of Kaura Namoda), remain the authentic chairman,” Usman stated.

“Zahraddeen Dahiru Nakazalle should desist from claiming to be the chairman of the Concerned Youths of Kaura Namoda and Birnin Magaji.”

Explaining the motivation behind the letter to President Tinubu, Usman highlighted the dire security situation, revealing that bandits had attacked his village, resulting in deaths and the destruction of property, including houses, shops, and cars.

“The insecurity is not confined to my village alone but extends to Kaura Namoda and Birnin Magaji. Life has become meaningless, and people have lost hope in the leadership of Hon. Aminu Sani Jaji,” Usman emphasized.

Usman further called on Hon. Aminu Jaji to publicly address alleged links with bandits, who are allegedly said to be the lawmaker’s political affiliates.

“We wish to reiterate our call for Hon. Aminu Jaji to come out boldly and explain his alleged connections with the bandits and their accomplices. Jaji should stop chasing shadows,” he concluded.
