APC chairmanship aspirant seeks stakeholders’ support for Dangote refinery

By Emma Okereh

The APC Chairmanship aspirant in Anambra State, Chief Ikechukwu C Anonye has urged relevant stakeholders in the oil industry, particularly marketers of petroleum products, to allow the seamless takeoff of the Dangote Refinery without any hindrances or sabotage.

He warned that sabotage has been the unfortunate practice the nation’s grounded four refineries which over the years constituted a conduit pipe and avenue for embezzlement of taxpayers money.

In a statement to newsmen, he urged the government to ensure that oil cabals are not entertained henceforth, as the Dangote Refinery will significantly ease the suffering of the people by providing ample fuel supply, creating jobs and stimulating economic growth.

“We must embrace this new era of industrialization and economic prosperity.

“I call on all stakeholders to support the success of the Dangote Refinery, as any sabotage or hindrance will only perpetuate the suffering of our people.

“I also urge the government to ensure a level playing field for the refinery, allowing it to operate without undue interference.

“While we work together in support of the president’s Renewed hope agenda,we must also collectively build a brighter future for Nigeria and Nigerians”.
