Lugard TV has extended an internship opportunity to Khadijat Blessing Mohammed, the top graduate from the Department of Mass Communication at Federal University, Lokoja (FUL).
During a reception held at the Government House Media Centre in Lokoja on Thursday, Ismaila Isah, Special Adviser on Media to the Kogi State Governor, welcomed the outstanding graduate.
Isah emphasized that the internship offer reflects Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo’s dedication to recognizing academic excellence by nurturing emerging talents with practical experience and a supportive environment for growth in the media field.
He added that the Government House Media Centre and Lugard TV would provide the intern with valuable hands-on experience, media insights, and a close look at media operations. This platform will allow her to collaborate with media professionals engaged with the Kogi State Government.
Isah explained that the initiative by Lugard TV aims to bridge the academic and professional realms, paving the way for future leaders in media.
The internship will allow Mohammed to gain exposure to journalism, quality content creation, and advanced media intelligence, offering her a range of specializations within the industry.
In response, Khadijat Blessing Mohammed expressed her gratitude for the opportunity and pledged to make the most of her internship at the Government House Media Centre.
