The management of The Authority Newspapers hereby apologizes for the regrettable and phantom report captioned “NGO Slams IPI Nigeria President, Mojeed, Alleges He Lacks Integrity.” that somehow found its way into our website.
Our internal investigations revealed that the login details of our late Executive Director (Publications ) was used to post the story on our website. How these login details were compromised remain a source of regret to us, even as there are strong pointers that this mishap was the handiwork of an ex-employee. We have since blocked any access to the site using the compromised login details.
While we continue with our investigations, we want to assure that the management of The Authority Newspapers holds the IPI in high esteem, and will not be part of any campaign- overt or covert- to undermine or tarnish the reputation of this noble institute.
