The chairman of Association of Local Government of Nigeria (ALGON) Taraba State Chapter, Hon. Moses Maihankali ,has lauded Gov. Agbu Kefas for peaceful conduct of the just concluded All Progressives Congress (APC) congresses in the State.
Describing Gov. Kefas administration’s peaceful disposition as uncomparable, Maihankali declared that with the outcome of the peaceful exercise in the state, the stage is now set for APC to clinch victory come 2027 general election.
The ALGON chairman who spoke with our correspondent in Jalingo shortly after the inauguration of the new party state Exco expressed optimism that the 2027 general election will be hitch free following the successful completion of party’s internal congresses in the state.
Maihankali who is also the executive chairman of Kurmi Local Government Council said the smooth conduct of the congresses has placed the party in a strong position to begin preparation for the next electoral cycle
Maihankali noted that residents of the state remain committed to the governor’s vision and development agenda, adding that the party would build on the existing support base as it prepares for future elections.
He expressed confidence that the APC would record victories at all levels in the 2027 general elections, attributing the optimism to what he described as the continued support of the people of Taraba State for the administration of Governor Agbu Kefas
He noted that residents of the state remain committed to the governor’s vision and development agenda, adding that the party would build on the existing support base as it prepares for future elections.
He also called on party members to remain united and focused, stressing that cohesion within the party would play a key role in achieving its electoral objectives.
The ALGON chairman commended governor Agbu Kefas and other party stakeholders for what he described as the orderly and peaceful conduct of the congresses.
He said the peaceful process that produced new party officials was commendable and wished them a successful tenure as they steer the affairs of the party toward greater progress and electoral victories.
