Barikor highlighted key achievements of the agency, including the expansion of the Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR) Programme, enforcement of national environmental regulations, public sensitization campaigns, and efforts to protect biodiversity.

Reaffirming management’s commitment, he assured staff of improved welfare, better conditions of service, and enhanced training opportunities.

He also urged employees to remain steadfast in upholding core values of discipline, dedication, and due diligence in the discharge of their duties.

Barikor wished staff and their families a happy Workers’ Day, while expressing optimism for continued progress in protecting Nigeria’s environment.
