By Daniel Tyokua

The Minister of Works, Senator David Umahi, has signed the nomination form of President Bola Tinubu for a second term, calling on other Nigerians to support the president.

Umah, who described the form as a “victory form”, said the nomination signals a defining moment in Nigeria’s development journey.

In a statement issued Tuesday by Francis Nwaze, the Senior Special Assistant on media to the minister, said the step reflects a collective commitment to continuity, stability, and the consolidation of gains recorded under TInubu’s led administration.

It said the current leadership in the country has driven critical infrastructure reforms, particularly in road construction and rehabilitation, which he described as vital to economic growth.

The statement reads, “ongoing projects across the country are part of the administration’s resolve to deliver tangible results.

“The progress made so far provides a strong foundation for sustained national transformation.”

The minister said he was confidence that President Tinubu is well positioned to complete ongoing initiatives and further deepen development across all sectors.

Umahi also called for continued support for the administration, stressing that consistent leadership is essential to achieving long-term national goals.
