Hon. Mazi Paul Chukwuka Obu [Ochubaradike Ohia Global] has emerged as the flag bearer of the All Progressives Congress [APC] for Orumba North and South Federal Constituency after winning the party’s just concluded Federal House of Representatives primary election.
Stakeholders across Anambra State have congratulated him on the victory, describing it as a win for service-driven leadership.
Supporters say Obu’s emergence reflects the trust and confidence party delegates and stakeholders have placed in his capacity to represent the constituency in the Green Chamber. They note that his candidacy aligns with the ideals of integrity, accountability, and purposeful representation.
The victory is being credited to years of consistent grassroots engagement and advocacy. Through his work on infrastructure development, youth and women empowerment, education, healthcare, and agricultural advancement, Obu has built a reputation for focusing on practical solutions to local challenges.
Party faithful argue that the delegates’ decision signals a demand for a representative who understands the assignment, remains accessible, and has the network to attract federal presence to Orumba North and South. His track record, they say, positions him to meet those expectations.
The outcome of the primary is being framed as the start of a new chapter for the constituency, one defined by effective representation and tangible development. Expectations are high that Obu will justify the mandate by delivering accountable leadership and measurable results.
Observers believe his people-centered approach and proven track record will give Orumba North and South a stronger voice in Abuja. The hope is that he will attract federal projects and defend the interests of the constituency without compromise in the National Assembly.
Party loyalists have been urged to sustain the same energy and unity that secured the primary win as the campaign moves toward the general election. The focus now shifts to mobilizing support for both the APC and Chief Hon. Mazi Paul Chukwuka Obu across the constituency.
Concluding the felicitations, supporters described the victory as well-deserved, citing Obu’s consistency, sacrifice, and belief in the potential of Orumba North and South. They expressed confidence that he has the compassion and capacity to lead with equity and reposition the constituency in the Green Chamber.
