Chinese COVID-19 vaccine developers Sinovac, Sinopharm and CanSinoBIO have submitted applications to join COVAX, a World Health Organization initiative to ensure every country has access to vaccines, Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesperson Hua Chunying said on Wednesday.
China officially joined COVAX last October, which the country regards as an important step to uphold the concept of a shared community of health for all.
