The grand finale of season two of Teachers Naija Reality Television show was held on Monday, with Odutola Gloria Ekene emerging as winner.
Odutola, who came top, defeated other housemates to claim N2.5 million prize as well a N35 million worth two-bedroom property in Abuja.
Two other female housemates, Faremi Mary Oluwabukola and Oyin-Adejoba Moranya clinched the second and third positions respectively with Faremi going home with N1.5 million while the second runner-up got N1 million.
The three winners would also enjoy an all expense paid trip to exotic locations as well as post graduate diploma in education – an academic gesture that was also extended to other housemates, among other benefits.
Speaking at the grand finale, which witnessed several performances, the convener of the show, Enuagwuna Ubaka, expressed delight over the impact the programme has made on the lives of Nigerian teachers.
He said the finalists, out of the 20 housemates that took part in the Teachers Naija Reality TV show, were graded on 70 percent cumulative votes and 30 percent on points scored from assigned tasks.
Ubaka commended the Federal Ministry of Education for endorsing the show as well as the sponsors for providing support.
He, however, called for more support and sponsorship to boost the reality show in the next season, saying several activities have been introduced to the show to attract more Nigerians.
The AUTHORITY reports that the reality show, an initiative of Anub Media Limited, had its first season in 2019 where the winner, first and second runner-up went home with N1.5 million, N1 million, and N500,000 respectively.
