The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) says it expended N455.5million between 27 December, 2019 and 2 January, 2020, out of which staff’s welfare gulped N341million.

The examination body listed the financial outflow to also include the computerisation of Abeokuta Computer-Based Test (CBT) centre that cost N46.5million, Benin office construction-N37.6million, among others.

The Board said it raked in N29.2million from E-facility/Sales and CBT service charges in the same period.

This was contained in this week’s JAMB bulletin made available to The AUTHORITY by the Board on Sunday in Abuja.

Meanwhile, JAMB has taken delivery of a newly completed CBT centre/office in Kebbi State which was built by the Nigerian Communications Commission (NCC) in line with the presidential directive that the Commission build such centre in each of the 109 senatorial districts in the country.

According to the JAMB bulletin, the newly completed building has a Professional Testing Centre (PTC), a conference room, offices and other modern facilities.
