Ebira People In Abuja Set To Showcase Heritage, Culture January 18

The Ebira People’s Association (EPA) Abuja, has concluded plans to hold its thanksgiving and celebration of heritage to showcase the rich culture of the Ebira people.

According to a statement by the host, Amb Aishat Mohammed Sanni, the ceremony schedule for Saturday 18 January will be chaired by senator Alhaji Yakubu Oseni

She said the day will be used to thank God for the peace enjoyed in Ebiraland during the recently concluded governorship election, despite initial fears of violence

Amb Sanni said “Ebira residents in Abuja are happy to showcase our rich culture to the people of the federal city.”

Speaking further, the coordinator of the group, Alhaji Muhammad A. Bello hailed the emergence of Yahaya Bello as governor of Kogi state, urging citizens of the state to join hands with the governor to bring more development.

While commending the governor for his achievements, She urged him to do more in terms of infrastructure and security in the state
