The management of Kano Electricity Distribution Company (KEDCO) has concluded plans to hold its marketing conference and award night which is scheduled for January 19, 2020 with theme: “Efficient Service Delivery Key To Sustainable Growth.”
According to a statement by KEDCO’s Head of Corporate Communication, Malam Ibrahim Sani Shawai, “in the course of the conference, three major presentations will be made: Evaluating trends and challenges for sustainable and improved collection efficiency, Corporate performance now and year ahead and Building efficient team through strategic leadership.
“Both the conference and the Managing Director’s award night are scheduled to take place the same day. While the conference is to take place between 9am and 5pm, the MD’s award night is starting by 7 pm the same day and both events are holding at Meenat Event Centre, Lodge Road Kano.
“The event is estimated to have 1,700 staff invitees for the marketing conference and the conference is to serve as a platform for deliberation on how to strategize and focus for the year for the benefits of employees and customers.
“The management says it has finalized all arrangements to make the event colourful and memory lasting with special features to make the participants have a feel of the packages that KEDCO is set to unbundle in the course of the year 2020.
“In his message, the MD/CEO of KEDCO, Dr. Jamil Isyaku Gwamna said it was time for KEDCO to show some of the deliverables that the company is set to offer to both customers and staff.
“The conference will also serve as an avenue to review best global standards in terms of our mode of operations to better our service delivery packages through fruitful engagements of key stakeholders who will grace the event.
“The event will be the best of its kind in terms of what we are set to offer in presentations and the series of activities lined up for participants. This event will also show how we appreciate our staff for outstanding performances”
