Amid favourable reports of Inter Milan looking to sign former Chelsea star, Victor Moses, it has emerged that the club in insisting on guarantee of his physical fitness before a deal.
Inter coach Antonio Conte has chosen the former Super Eagles player as the Nerazzurri look to negotiate a deal for the player as alternatives in the wing back position after the deal for Roma full back Leonardo Spinazzola collapsed.
Conte previously worked with Moses at Chelsea, where the duo won a Premier League title together in the 2016/17 season. During that season, Conte transformed the 29-year-old Nigerian into one of the most dangerous full backs in the league.
Inter want guarantees on Moses’ physical condition before they finalise a deal for him, according to reports.
The player, who is currently on loan at Fenerbahce, has only made seven appearances across all competitions so far this season due to a serious thigh muscle rupture.
The Nerazzurri only want to sign him if he is fit enough to be immediately deployed.
Fenerbahce are willing to send Moses back to Chelsea in order to save on fees, the report continues. Inter will still have to reach an agreement with Chelsea, who want a more permanent future for the winger.
The Nerazzurri are looking to offer the Blues a loan deal with a buy option attached but will have to convince the Premier League side.
