From Blessing Ibunge, Port Harcourt
The Catholic Diocese of Port Harcourt has lost a young priest who slumped while officiating Mass on Sunday.
It was gathered that Rev Fr Cyprian Kooro, Parish Priest of St Helens Catholic Church, Ogbogoro in Obio/Akpor of Rivers State, slumped during homily and was immediately rushed by parishioners to undisclosed hospital in Port Harcourt.
It was further gathered that the priest could not make it to life as he was confirmed dead at the hospital.
As at press time, no authority of the church at the diocese has officially spoken about the incident.
