Easter: BIN President urge Christians to pray against spread of COVID-19

As the world marks this year’s Easter celebration in commemoration of
the crucifixion, death and resurrection of Jesus Christ, the President, Association of Bikers in Nigera (BIN), Engr Nubel Bariza, has called on all bikers in Nigeria to be considerate and modest in this period of celebration, urging the Christian’s faithfuls to pray against the spread of conoravirus.

The Bikers Presidet in a statement reminded Christians of the essence of the season and tasked them to reminiscent on its core values which is hinged on love and sacrifice, noting that bikers must reflect on these values and imbibe them in their daily living and relationship between themselves and the larger society.

Engr, Bariza, also used the opportunity to commend Bikers for strictly complying with government directives to curb the spread of the dreaded Covid 19 virus currently ravaging the world and appealed to government at all levels to redouble efforts in the adopted
mechanisms to cushion the effects of the lockdown.

“We love the outdoors greatly, because that’s where biking thrives, unfortunately that’s where the corona virus is prevalent. l therefore call on members to shun any form of biking fiesta for the time now until the pandemic is completely contained. Members in states where there are total lockdown should please comply and endeavour to promote the first hygiene measures of anti COVID-19 of hand washing and avoiding large crowd.

He said, “as we mourn thousands who have died across the globe some of them bikers, let us also remember our neighbours and friends who are being tormented by the ‘Hunger Virus’ and do the needful by sharing with them what God has blessed us with”.

According to him, it is the wish of his association that the scourge is conquered as soon as possible and however cautioned that for this to be achieved everybody should adhere to the health tips, safety fundermentals and work closely with government.

He commended all those who have in various ways contributed funds and
medical equipments in the fight against the dreaded virus .
