Wife of the Tor Tiv, HRM Dr. Felicia Ayatse has enjoined house wives in Tivland to rise up to the occasion as stabilizers of homes in the face of the dreaded Coronavirus by exhibiting virtues of love patience and understanding.
Chief Mrs Ayatse noted that with the seat at home directive been observed in the state continues, it was imperative for house wives who are also mothers to exhibit high moral standards and inculcate same unto their children as they spend more time with them
The wife of the Tiv Paramount ruler equally urged the people to maintain safety standards as they celebrate Easter adding that if they embraced such good virtues are displayed, they will go a long way in maintaining peace in the homes, especially at a period where a good number of men who hardly spend time at home owing to daily engagements were now confined.
” As wives and mothers we should endeavor to make our homes more comfortable for both our husbands and children so that there will be peace during this very trying moment.
” We should learn to tolerate more at this period and I want to also enjoin them to use the opportunity to inculcate into their children sound moral values as the period has now provided the opportunity for most families to spend more time together”.
She urged the people to seek God’s intervention in the situation noting that with Him, all situations were surmountable.
The mother of Tiv Nation commended efforts by the Benue Government towards curtailing the spread of the virus and equally urged the people to adhere to safety measures aimed at ensuring they do not contact the virus.
