Contrary tofraudulent adverts making the rounds about recruitment, the Director General(DG) of the National Agency for theControl of AIDS (NACA), Dr. Gambo Aliyu, has said that hisagency is not embarking on any form of recruitment.
He, therefore, warned the generalpublic not to fall victim of fraudsters who are bent on mopping illegitimatefunds from unsuspecting members of the public.
In a statement he personally signed,Dr. Aliyu, said: “We bring to the notice of thegeneral public that NACA is not mass recruiting.
“It has come to ourattention that numerous job offers are being circulated by unauthorised personsusing the name of the Agency to solicit for job applications and some requiringapplicants to pay processing fees.
“NACA posts employmentopportunities on its official website; www.naca.gov.ng. and hasnot engaged the services of a recruitment agent.
“It is the responsibilityof job seekers to research and verify information pertaining job postings.
“NACA does not charge/accept any amount or security deposit from job seekers during its application,selection or interview process.
“NACA would not accept anyliability towards the representation made in any fraudulent communication orits consequences, and such fraudulent communication shall not be treated as anykind of offer or representation by NACA.”
