said the developmental revolution taking place in Ebonyi State cannot be relegated to the background considering its enormous impact on the lives of Ebonyi Citizens.
President General of the organization, Dr. Mike Uyi stated this in a Press Release on Friday in UK noting that since the present administration under the leadership of Governor Dave Umahi came on board on May 29, 2015, it had put modalities in place to ensure facelift of the entire state amidst the merger resources within its reach.
According to the statement, the adminstration of Governor Dave Umahi in Ebonyi State has in no small measure provided democracy dividends to the people of the State and created a road map for the overall development of the state.
Dr. Uyi said, the developmental plans of the present administration had over taken that of its predecessors as it has given Ebonyi State an usual facelift within the South-East geopolitical zone of the country.
“Following the impact of his administration’s laudable initiative on road construction across the state, Governor Umahi also extended the projects to local government areas of the state including Onicha, Ohaukwu and Ishielu LGAs of the State”.
“Ebonyi State under Governor Dave Umahi is now reckoned with as the fastest developing state in Nigeria with numerous beautiful round about, CCTV Camera, digital LED facilities as well as street lights scattered in virtually all the streets of the capital city and each of the local government areas, measuring 20 km per LGA”.
The statement further said, GPMI UK after several on the spots accessment visit to Ebonyi by its team of inspectors, the state has emerged at the international communities as the State with the highest number of flyovers after Lagos and Abuja and having the most beautifully adorned flyovers in Nigeria.
“This assessment is made secretly by the GPMI inspectors to avoid any internal influence by any Government officials throughout the state”.
“Governor Umahi has carved a niche for himself in the sands of time. It is because of his intimidating records of achievement that various groups in the country are now clamouring for Governor Umahi for President in 2023”.
