Uyi condemns in strong terms the barbaric act that is going on in Ebonyi and urge the pepetreitors to stop their evil plots as it will only destroy the furtunes of the state.

“Ebonyi State has over the years been adjudged to be the most peaceful state in the South Eastern Nigeria. It is sad today that some persons have decided to make the state unbearable for its citizens”.

“We feel so sad that this kind of thing should happen in Ebonyi, we feel so worried for our country Nigeria and we are short of words”.

“Global Peace Movement International is set to meet with the governors of Ebonyi, Anambra states and other stakeholders to discuss how to end this madness”.

“We have track records on peaceful negotiations in some countries of the world like Iraq and Yoghuslavia among other countries. Once we get an official invitation from the governors of the South East, we shall deploy all our arsenals of peaceful negotiations and we are sure peace will return to Ebonyi State and the whole south east”, he said.

Uyi commended Governor David Umahi and his counterpart in Anambra state, Willie Obiano for their unprecedented infrastructure development in the state despite the critical situation in the two states.
