By Chesa Chesa

President Muhammadu Buhari has approved new security measures for the Southeast and South-South geo-political zones of the country.

This follows a security meeting he convened at the Presidential Villa, to address the security challenges in the country particularly, those that have arisen in the last few months.

National Security Adviser (NSA), Babagana Monguno, said the President gave marching orders to ideal with the emerging problems “physically”.

He did not reveal details of the new strategy as a decision was also taken not to publicise the specific measures to be deployed to tackle insecurity in the country henceforth, for better results.
