The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) candidate for the forthcoming FCT Area Councils’ elections in Gwagwalada, Alhaji Rabi’u Saba has unveiled his agenda for Gwagwalada residents.
He said, if elected during the election Infrastructure development, education and empowerment programmes will remain key areas that his administration would focus on.
Saba asked the electorate to vote for credible candidates who would provide dividends of democracy to the common man on the Street Speaking with newsmen in his residence in Gwagwalada, the PDP candidate expressed optimism that his party would win the election in Gwagwalada come 2022.
Saba noted that PDP has massive followers and supporters within Gwagwalada township and environs just as he maintained that he would continue to preach throughout the electioneering period.
The flagbearer revealed that a reconcilation committee has been constituted to encourage aggrieved aspirants and members to remain and work for the success of the party in order to prevent anti- party activities.
“I thank God that make it possible for me to win the primary and emerge as the candidate of PDP, by special grace of God I will do my best . And I will also carry those who we contested the primary together along so that we can move the party to the next level”, he explained.
According to him, the ruling party has failed the electorate while promising that the residents of Gwagwalada would witness transformation when he assumed office.
He expressed determination to accord respect to traditional institutions, adding that he would carry all traditional rulers along with a view to allowing them to play their role as a custodian of the community.
