The entire family of Mr Bonny Nwaonu, a Correspondent with The Authority Newspaper, was on Wednesday,28th of July, 2021 thrown into jubilation when their daughterBarr. Linda Onyeyirichi Nwaonusuru was called to the Bar at the Eagle Square inAbuja.
The family alsoexpressed gratitude to God for making it a reality. It was also a day ofmerriment as the family thanked their friends and relatives who joined them inthe celebration. ‘’We are indeed grateful to the Almighty God for being withour daughter throughout her legal studies at Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria andNigeria Law School Enugu Campus’’, says the elated father.
Whenasked how she feel becoming a Lawyer, she said, ” I feel elated andfulfilled to an extent because at some point of chasing this dream, it seemedimpossible with lots of discouragements and disappointments flying around mebut with the help of God and my determination to succeed, I have finished therace successfully. I have made lots of people proud and I have blazed the trailfor others to follow in not just my family but my community at large”.
To anyoneaspiring to be a Lawyer, she said, “My encouragement to anyone aspiring tobe a Lawyer would be to set a goal and remain focused in reaching the set goal.Of a truth, Law is not such an easy course to study neither is the Legalprofession for everyone, so any aspirant to the Bar would have to be resilientand determined. They would have to purge themselves of every deviant behaviorand every iota of dubiousness. They would have to learn to maintain a highmoral standard as a lifestyle because the Legal profession is not just aprofession but a noble one’’, she said.
