Barely halfway into 2021, real estate entrepreneur Thony Edouard has once again proven his entrepreneurial mettle with the floating of a new streaming service called The Plug Network.
His first hint of founding a streaming service first came to light in 2020 during the Covid-19 lockdown. Now The Plug Network has taken off providing original documentaries, movies and talk shows to subscribers.
In a recent interview, Thony Edouard, the CEO of Edouard Equity LLC, also hinted that there are other areas of business he is already considering expanding into.
He said: “Lately, I’ve been trying to get into the music industry by starting a record label and hopefully put a mark in the industry.”
Edouard, who looks up to the likes of Sean Combs (aka Diddy), Deion Sanders and Wayne Green as his business role models, also disclosed that he could have been a finance management specialist were he to embrace an alternative career.
“But I chose to be a business person because of financial freedom and the fact that I make my schedule, and have no limit on how much I can make,” he explained.
The Plug Network boss, however, conceded that business was far from his childhood ambition. Said he: “I always thought I was going to be a pro soccer player growing up in Haiti. That was my favourite sport and I wanted to go pro.”
While recounting the most significant moments of his business career thus far, Thony Edouard said: “Two of such moments were, first, in 2016 when I started flipping my first property and this year that I am starting The Plug Network. They are among the best moments of my business career so far.”
