An upcoming music artist, Lillian Iheonunekwu (aka Lilcassie), has highlighted some of the challenges she faced in the course of advancing her musical career.
The burgeoning artist recently shared some of her challenges in an exclusive chat with our correspondent.

According to her: “Not having to know someone who knows someone; not having the right contact is a problem. Promotion as an independent artist, is draining.”
Lilcassie however advised other upcoming artists to: “embrace failure whenever it comes and brace up for the good news that will come with it. Life is up and down, never let it hit so hard that you forget your dreams.”

Furthermore, the delectable Imo state -born artist, who ventured into music world professionally in 2014, shared what motivated her.

“My father is a musician. He encouraged me to go into singing. He said I should make singing a full-time job, instead of singing and dancing for him, in the house.

“The society I grew up also motivated me. Anytime I put my ears on the ground and listen to what is happening in the society, I found myself putting them into music.”
The artist who relocated from Abuja to Lagos, few years ago in pursuit of her musical career, said she released a lot of tracks online.

“I have a lot of tracks online as an upcoming artist. Just last week, I released my latest single titled ‘Bizarre’ and it is on all platforms and trending on tiktok,” she said.
