By Myke Uzendu, Abuja

Aspirant for the office of National Secretary, Barr. Okey Muo-Aroh, who was disqualified by the Screening Committee of Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has accepted his fate and congratulated the newly elected executives of the party.

Muo-Aroh in a statement on Monday said that it was very unfair of the committee to disqualify him on the grounds that he took the party to court which was a false claim that has put some dint on his image.

The aspirant said that the Appeals Committee led by Senator Ike Ekweremmadu later informed him that he was disqualified based on his insistence on seeking for votes from delegates even when the position was micro zoned out of his state, Anambra.

Muo-Aroh said that his decision to abide by what transpired at the National convention was to avoid truncating what has been described as a very successful convention, adding that seeking redress may drag the party into another round of confusion, rancour and litigation.

In a letter dated November 1st, and addressed to The Chairman, PDP Screening Appeal Panel
