Ebonyi APGA celebrates Soludo’s victory, flags off membership registration

The All Progressives Grand Alliance, (APGA) Ebonyi State Chapter, Tuesday, congratulated, Prof. Chukwuma Soludo, over his victory during the just concluded Anambra governorship election.


State Chairman of the party, Chief Ricky Okorouka, during their meeting in Abakaliki, on November 16, noted that Prof. Soludo’s victory has boosted their morale as they will increase activities of the party in the state.

The party also congratulated their National leader, Dr. Victor Ikechukwu Oye, the BOT chairman, His Excellency, Chief Willie Obiano, also the governor of Anambra State, for their charismatic leadership which saw to the victory of the party in Anambra state.

He said the party has already started receiving calls from some politicians in the state who want to join the party.

Okorouka, hinted that the party during the meeting also flagged off its membership registration exercise in the state.


“In fact, one of the major reasons we met was to flag off our massive membership registration exercise. We decided to start our membership registration following the requests by Ebonyians to officially join the party.


“So many came to me, I told them to meet with their various local government chairmen, so that they will be able to identify their various wards where they can register,” he stated. 


The APGA boss, was optimistic that the party would take over the mantle of leadership in the state come 2023 governorship election.


He added: “APGA has come to stay in Ebonyi State and APGA is rising. The time for APGA to take over Ebonyi state has come that is why we have began to mobilize for membership. We have met men of timber and caliber in the State who told us they want to contest some positions in our party.


“With the kind of persons approaching us, we believe that the party has alot of chances in 2023, and we will take over the state” he added.


Okorouka, also assured that the party has the funds needed to carry out any activity they want to carry out in the state.


He encouraged members of the party to be steadfast and to continue keeping faith with the party, even as he commended the executives and other APGA stalwart for having kept faith with the party not withstanding the challenges they had in the past.
