GPMI tells Kalu’ to burry his Senate Presidency ambition

Global Peace Movement International, UK has described the activities of the 9th assembly, Chief Whip of the Senate, Chief Orji Uzor Kalu, as act of sabotage and involvement in anti-party activities and fueling disunity in the countries politics.

President General of the group, Dr Mike Uyi stated this in a telephone interview on Wednesday in London.

Uyi said Kalu’ action have again brought Nigeria to the spotlight as a country whose leaders do not only celebrate corruption but are “fantastically corrupt” and have succeeded in making Nigeria a laughing stock among the comity of nations.

He said Kalu’ should hide his face in shame because till today he has curruption charges of alleged diversion of N7.65bn while he served as the Governor of Abia State.

“it is laughable that Senator Orji Uzo Kalu’ has embark on a wild goose chase even the records of him being accused of “stealing his state dry when he was a governor of the state.”

“Such of Kalu’ should not in anyway come out in public to look for a sensitive position in the Senate. Nigeria should not be reduced to a laughing stock”, Uyi stated.

According to Uyi, Nigeria needs a Senate President of like never before. A fixer extraordinary; a bridge builder of immense means; a silent listener and coordinator.

“We yearn for a personality that walks his talk. Nigeria need a personality with track records. Someone who has what it takes to deliver and ensure a vibrant leadership.

“The choice of the former governor of Akwa-Ibom and the past Niger-Delta minister Godswill Akpabio is in the best interest of the 10th Assembly, the executive and the entire country.
