The APC_led administration in Zamfara has been described as the worst the State has ever had since the return of democracy in the country, Professor Kabiru Jabaka, the deputy chairman of the opposition PDP in the state has alleged.
He also termed the administration as destructive in all ramifications, particularly going by what is happening with regard to security in the State.
The deputy chairman of the PDP made this known in Gusau, capital of the State while answering questions from newsmen after briefing.
Professor Jabaka explained that the present administration in the State is not living up to expectation as far as development is concerned, and that any government in the world, cannot beat its chest and claim honesty when its people are suffering.
According to him, from inception to date of the present government, no single project has been executed from conception to construction, and they are not unaware of the fact that the governor of the State receives 600million Naira monthly as security vote, but instead of him to utilize it in a proper manner, he only decide to distribute it to those he wants to enrich leaving the common man in problem of hunger and fear.
He disclosed further that the governor had so far collected about 3:3 billion Naira as security vote and yet there is nothing to write home about in terms of development, especially in the area of security.
The deputy chairman also commented that PDP in the State is only out to remind the governor of what he should do and not creating any problem as perceived by many and it does not overheat the polity.
They also called on the State House of Assembly to invite the governor for explanation on how he handles the monthly security vote so that the citizenry will know where their money goes.
