2023 Presidency: Vivian joins que of aspirants, seeks to end Nigeria’s problems


Mrs Vivian Bello in Abuja on Tuesday, joined the que of aspirants as she declared her intentions to run for Presidency in the forthcoming general elections.


She said that her aspiration was important to salvage Nigeria from the suffocating grips of those who have been holding the country hostage in the guise of rulership and retire in Nigeria to the path of greatness and functionality.


Delivering her declaration speech in Abuja on Tuesday, she said, “I hereby today announce my intention to run for the Office of the President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, on the Six thronged Program of;Educational Revolution, Restructuring for true federalism, Paradigm shift to climate-just economy, strengthening democratic institutions, and the rules of law, infrastructural and industrial revolution, addressing the vulnerabilities of women and youths.


“I consider this a clarion call to serve and to rescue and salvage the.  All of my life, I have been in the forefront and trenches, playing up the voices (issues) of the Voiceless, shielding the weak from the tramplings of the strong and mighty, holding institutions to justifiable account to the citizenry, challenging the destruction of the system by those who have hijacked the governance of the country. 


“I do not just hear what Nigerians go through, I know what Nigerians go through; I know what Nigerians want.”


“I know what needs to be done to change the course of the present purposeless drift of a great country as Nigeria and of which has occasioned hopelessness and all the manifest vices and crimes that we see and witness today. ( I have summarized some of these issues and actions needed earlier, and will in due course, roll out my full and detailed manifesto). And it is not far-fetched; it is that the POLITICAL WILL will be fully taken up, to do what needs to be done to fix Nigeria; to re-direct the course of Nigeria through purposeful leadership.”


On the political party she intends to join in pursuit of her ambition, she said that consultations are ongoing to ensure that she joins a party that aligns with her ideologies and agenda.


The Presidential aspirant, Mrs Bello was further endorsed by the Nigerian Climate Conscious Voters (NCV-2023).


A representative of the Nigeria Climate Conscious Voters 2023, Aderayo Adefowora said, “The Nigeria Climate-Conscious Voters NCV-2023, has endorsed Presidential Aspirant, Mrs Vivian Bello for President for the 2023 general elections in Nigeria.


“The NCV-2023 took this decision in view of the critical importance Climate occupies in the polity and in sustaining the very vital bio-diversity and environment that sustains life and of which every sphere of life is practically dependent on, and therefore in view of her tireless and long-standing campaigns and works in this regard.”


On behalf of the management of aspire Aspire African Youth Empowerment Initiative, its Founder/President, Okache Ekpo said, “having seen the wheel which Vivian Bello is riding on, which aligns with the aim of Aspire African Youth Empowerment Initiative, we hereby endorse Mrs Vivian Bello.”
