Anambra 2021: Litigations about my candidature will soon be over, Ozigbo assures

The PDP candidate in the November 6 governorship election, Mr Valentine Ozigbo has assured the teeming members of the party that the litigation issues about his candidature  will soon be resolved.
He told teeming members and supporters of the party at Oma Event Centre, Awka, Anambra State caital, yesterday that a team of competent legal exerts are already resolving the legal logjam, and, assured that the distractions will soon be a thing of the past.
He urged the PDP leadership at all levels to brace up for serious work so that the election can be a walk in the park

Ozigbo urged the party faithful not to spare anything to ensure total victory for PDP on November 6 guber polls noting that PDP remains the only password for the state as all other political parties jostling for governorship position are counterfeits.

The PDP candidate said that his local government campaign tour would commence on August 9 in line with the INEC calendar

The Oma Event Center Awka venue was filled to capacity as PDP members turned up for the meeting to express their loyalty and unflinching support for Mr Ozigbo.
Mr Valentine Ozigbo appreciated the party leadership for their support during the primary and the expected support in the days ahead.
Mr Ozigbo noted that his victory during the PDP primary is actually a victory for Anambra State and her people.
He said further that his aspiration, a divine mandate is hinged on ‘Ka Anambra Chawapu’
“All members of PDP NEC, BoT, PDP governors and other stakeholders in other political parties are rooting for us and with that level of support, there is no need to contemplate moving to another political platform. This is PDP’s time to shine and produce Anambra State governor. I cannot overemphasize this.” He said.
Ozigbo at the occasion apologized to anyone who is still aggrieved after the party primary to let go and that all and sundry should concentrate on how PDP would win the November 6 governorship election.
In his comment, the former Anambra State governor, Mr Peter Obi who was the Vice Presidential candidate of PDP in the last general elections, urged every aggrieved person to let go as all the governorship aspirants cannot become the candidate of the party at the same time.
Mr Obi said that it would be in the best interest of the party to go into the governorship election as a united family without any form of distraction.
“PDP has a quality candidate in the person of Mr Valentine Ozigbo, a better Anambra State is assured under his watch. Governance is a serious business and not a retirement benefit.” Mr Obi noted.
All the speakers at the occasion extolled the leadership qualities of Mr Valentine Ozigbo, the PDP candidate.
