Makuo Nwosu ,Osadebe Ifeanyi Henry, Others Wanted For Cultism Activities

…As 10 people sustained various degrees of injures

Some members Of Black Axe Confraternity (NBM) and their leader at the Federal Technical College of Education, Asaba, Delta state have been declared wanted by the police due to a clash between rival cult organisation that led to destruction of properties and left many injured.

The clash which led many of their members sustaining various degrees of injuries was not the first time it has happened.

According to some eyewitnesses, Makuo Nwosu (aka Baby) and his assistant, Osadebe Henry led his group to the other campus after one of its members, Samson Osas was stabbed in the neck in his classroom during lectures.

It was gathered they went as retaliation on the attack of their member.
The command also said it recovered a cut-size double barrel gun, one tricycle without a registration number, and some quantity of hard drugs, knives and manchettes.

The state Police Public Relations Officer, PPRO, SP Bright Edafe gave the names of the suspects as Chukwuemka Lawrence (19 years), Chinasa Anagor, (19 years), Festus Agbor, (22 years), Ebuka Umana (20 years), Olisa Chinedu, (19 years) and Osadebe Ifeanyi Henry (20), and Makuo Nwosu (a k a Baby) their ring leader.

According to the PPRO, one Makuo Nwosu (aka Baby), Osadebe Ifeanyi Henry his assistant and other unidentified persons have been declared wanted by the police authority.

He said police operatives attached to the Special Anti-Cult Squad, SPACS, while on patrol at the popular polytechnic in Asaba and tried to intercept all the five occupants, including the driver, of a tricycle.

He added that in a bid by the security operatives to question them, the occupants of the tricycle took to their heels.

According to him, Festus Agbor, Ebuka Umana, Olisa Chinedu and Osadebe Ifeanyi Henry and Makuo Nwosu (a k a Baby) are still at large.

“During interrogation, the one of the suspects caught confessed being members of the Black Axe cult group gangs terrorizing Asaba metropolis in recent time. The suspect also confessed that they were on a mission to go defend one of their members who was injured by a rival cult group before they were intercepted and arrested”, the state PPRO stated.

He said that the Commissioner of Police has charged the operatives to sustain the tempo in the fight against crime in the state, assuring Deltans that the confidence reposed on the police and all the security agencies in the state shall not be taken for granted.

He also promised that the wanted cultist will be apprehended and sent them to jail.
