The Special envoy on Good Governance and Diplomacy, Intl Peace Commission of the United Nations, who doubles as Global Vice Chairman, Advocacy for Good Governance/Social Justice Network, Vienna, Amb. (Dr) Hussaini Coomassie, yesterday in Vienna Austria, paid a courtesy visit to the OPEC Headquarters in company of Engr. Idris Buba Zarma, Engr. Edgar O. Ekhuerhare and some top Diplomats.
Dr. Coomassie commended the Secretary General, Dr Mohammed Barkindo for a job well done, stressing that he is really making Nigeria proud globally.
Speaking to our international correspondent at the United Nations Office in Vienna where he attended series of meetings with some dignitaries, he commended the Secretary General for stabilising OPEC, praying Almighty Allah to guide and protect him wherever he goes and wishes him the best in all his endeavours.
“Sir Barkindo, my elder Brother, is an illustrious son of Nigeria. He has continued to represent Nigeria in the comity of Nations. We wish to have more of his likes to reposition the country in the international market,” he stated.
Amb. Coomassie is also scheduled to proceed to U.A.E for his 3rd Honorary Doctorate degree award by the Commonwealth University in Dubai. He’s expected in Abuja Nigeria on June 22, 2022 for his Fellowship Certificate put together by the Institute of Management Specialists, UK (Nigeria Chapter).
