According to him, “we are going to make sure we hand over a viable club to the Governor-elect who incidently comes from this zone, particularly, from the Rotary Club of Bompai.

“We have embarked on a familiarization visit to every club under the District to make sure that things are done the right way. We have discussed with the club presidents on the strategy for attracting, maintaining and retaining membership. And I am hopeful that membership of the clubs in Kano will increase soonest.”

“Ensure that people are actually in need of the projects you are executing. Design your projects in such a way that it will be beneficial and add value to the community and the people. That way, they will appreciate you and would be willing to work and partner with you.

“I am impressed over the tree planting project carried out by the Rotary Club of Bompai on Wednesday. I was happy that even before we arrived there, the President and her team were already there, under the rain!

“They went into partnership with the Panacea Foundation, planting over 10,000 trees to curb climate change. That was a wonderful project.

“You don’t have to do everything by yourself alone. You should partner with organizations. You should collaborate with people to make the society a better place.”

Dr. Nnadi further buoyed the spirit of Rotarians and Rotractors, assuring them that the sacrifices they make in putting smiles on the faces of people and making the society a better place is not in vain.

“We all here have our own burdens. We have families, we are professionals. But we spend our time, our money, and our energy to serve humanity. By helping people, you are doing good, and when you do good, God rewards you.”
