A former Anambra State governorship aspirant under the platform of the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) Chief Rommy Okoli has drummed support for the presidential ambition of the former Anambra State governor, Mr Peter Obi.
Chief Okoli who is popularly called the Messenger in the political circle during an interactive session with journalists said that the former Anambra State governor is a very good material for the presidential job.
The former Nnewi South Local Goverment Area chairman said as a matter of fact that the era of politicians decieving the people to get political power are over as electorates are now wiser and focus their minds on the candidate that can give them the future they want in Nigeria.
Chief Okoli urged the electorates to avoid all distractions from the unscrupulous politicians who would want to deceive them again through a very sophisticated campaign machineries .
The Messenger condemned in clear terms the deliberate attempts by some politicians and their media handlers to divert attention from issues of national importance to attacks on peoples and percieved opponents.
“Peter Obi is a good candidate because he has the experience, capacity, discipline, integrity, humility and managerial skills to turn things around in Nigeria.
“Obi has economic ideas and he is in a better position to manage Nigeria’s economy with the vice presidential candidate, Senator Yusuff Datti Ahmed.” He asserted.
Chief Okoli appealed to all Nigerians to support the Obi/Datti-Ahmed team noting that the duo are progressive and posses what it takes to move the country forward.
