“The translated text are the responses of Nigerians in diaspora who responded during the GPMI’s visit to France, USA, Germany, Italy and UK in the tour titled ‘Talk to our people back home’ in support of the Nigerian Army to end all manner of insecurity in Nigerias’.

Uyi noted that the fight against insecurity is a national issue that concerns every Nigerian at home and abroad.

He said the insecurity that has almost crumbled the country need to be brought to an end and can’t be done without the support of every Nigerian.

He emphasized that the Army can only succeed if members of every community can empower the Army with relevant informations that can guide the Army to flush out the bad elements in out society and country at large.

“Some of these bad elements are living in out communities and it is only when we identify them to the Army, they have little or nothing to do for us”.

“Let’s not forget, the Boko Haram, insurgents and other criminals are not fighting the Army but the country as a whole. We must rise to the occasion by supporting the Army”.

“The aim of distributing the translated manuscript from our visits to some of the countries in Europe is to ensure that we bring home the message of the importance of peace in Nigeria and to show solidarity for the Nigerian Army”.

Uyi further said the Army has done lots in ensuring that Nigeria has peace and security of life and property.

Uyi concluded that Chief of Army Staff (COAS), Lt Gen Faruk Yahaya has set worthy examples in leadership. “He has demonstrated the capacity to lead when it matters most in this critical point of our existence. GPMI celebrates a gallant officer that has matched words with actions. He deserves all the support he can get as he soldiers on.
