Thousands of supporters of the All Progressives Congress(APC) and other residents have converged on the Sani Abacha Stadium,Kofar Mata,Kano, to attend the launching of North-West campaign of the APC Presidential Candidate, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, and his Running Mate, Senator Kashim Shettima.
The APC supporters came from the 44 Local areas of Kano State as well from the other APC-controlled states in the North-West – Kaduna, Zamfara,Jigawa,Kebbi and Katsina, and their respective Governors.
The campaign launch is already underway, and is expected to feature addresses and speeches by the Host Governor,His Excellency Dr.Abdullahi Umar Ganduje,the APC Standard Flagbearer, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu and His Running Mate, Senator Kashim Shettima.
Others are the APC National Chairman, Alhaji Abdullahi Adamu and the Chairman of the Kano State chapter of the APC,Prince Abdullahi Abbas,among others.
