The chairman Abuja Municipal Area Council, Christopher Maikalangu has approved the appointment of Ibrahim Pam as the Managing Director (MD) AMAC broadcasting service.
This is contained in a statement issued by Senior Special Assistant on Media and public affairs to AMAC chairman, Kingsley Madaki, Wednesday.
According to the statement, the appointment take immediate effect.
The Council chairman, who urged the MD to live up to the expectation of the administration, said his performance will harness the opportunities in the Council to widen the scope of the proposed AMAC commercial radio station in order to attract business to the station.
Pam, until his appointment was a Special Assistant on Media and ICT to former National Chairman of PDP, Alhaji Bamanga Tukur, and also a Member of Governing Council, Federal Polytechnic, Kaura – Namoda, Zamfara state and currently Chairman FCT Gymnastics Sports Association.
He had also served as the Executive Director, Production System Designs, Ikeja Lagos; Nonlinear Editor with a German firm, Sylvio Projekts Studio, Asokoro, Abuja; Nonlinear Editor with Quest Media, Abuja; Production Manager with EloPee worldwide television.
Born on 18 September, 1970 in Fan District of Nding loh, Barkin Ladi Local Government Area of Plateau State.
He earned OND in Broadcast Journalism, HND in Journalism, BS.c in Mass Communication.
Pam attended several local and international trainings including Entrepreneurship Development Certificate with the Centre for Management Development, Lagos and Certificate in Micro, Small and Medium Scale Enterprises development from the Centre for Commerce and Economic development in Beijing, China.
