RTEAN inaugurates new executives, re-echoes discipline

The Road Transport Employers Association of Nigeria (RTEAN) has inaugurated its new executives to continue to pilot affairs of the association.

During the inauguration in Abuja, yesterday, the National President, Dr Musa Maitakobi asked the members to always operate within the confine of the law.

He said that justice, equity and fraternity is the key success to any organisation in the society,

Maitakobi appealed to the newly sworn in RTEAN Chairman and Ekiti State Chapter to shun sycophants and hypocrites, which are genesis of leadership failure.

In his remarks, the Chairman, Ekiti RTEAN chapter, Comrade Sunday Adeola expressed happiness over the Inauguration, saying it was a dream come true.

He commended the National Chairman of the association for considering him worthy, and the honour done them.

Adeola urged members in the state to shun anything that is capable of causing crisis in the state.

While commending the National Chairman, Adeola described him as God chosen who have made an indelible marks and turned around the association for good.

He called on members to show commitment and work together as a team for the betterment of the association in the state and Nigeria in general,

“Since the inception of his tenure as RTEAN National President Amb. Dr. Musa Maitakobi, the stakeholders in tbe transport sector have described him as a reformer, and the association had recorded successes.

“The Road Transport Employers Association of Nigeria is a registered Trade Union under the law as enshrined in section 5 sub section 7 of Trade Union amendment Act CAP T14 laws of the Federation to which empowers RTEAN to operate anywhere in 774 local governments and 36 states and FCT.
