Elections: Muhammad Yakubu Now Kano CP,  Mamman Dauda Plateau CP

…Another CP,  Three DCPs Also Posted to Kano

Ahead of the general elections, Mr.  Muhammad Yakubu has assumed duty as Kano State Commissioner of Police,  while Mr.  Mamman Dauda has been redeployed from Kano to Plateau state.

More so,  Commissioner of Police,  Mr.  Ita Lazurus Uko-Udom has been posted to Kano Central Senatorial District, while DCP Adamu Isa Ngoji and DCP Abdulkadir El-Jamal are posted to Kano South Senatorial District and DCP Abaniwonda S. Olufemi is posted to Kano North Senatorial District for the 2023 General Election.

Their redeployment will stand until after the February and March general elections in the country.

A Statement by the Kano Police Command’s spokesman,  Superintendent of Police, Abdullahi Haruna Kiyawa, indicated that: “The Kano State Police Command wishes to inform the good people of Kano State that, CP Muhammad Yakubu assumed duty as the Commissioner of Police, Kano State Command while CP Mamman Dauda psc(+) has been posted to Plateau State Police Command for the 2023 General Election. “Similarly, CP Ita Lazurus Uko-Udom is posted to Kano Central Senatorial District, DCP Adamu Isa Ngoji and DCP Abdulkadir El-Jamal are posted to Kano South Senatorial District and DCP Abaniwonda S. Olufemi is posted to Kano North Senatorial District for the 2023 General Election.
