We will join hands to move Bida/Gbako/Katcha forward-Rep Abdulahhi

The Deputy Chairman, House of Representatives Committee on Finance, Rep. Saidu Abdullahi has called on all the contestants of Bida/Gbako/Katcha Federal Constituency to join hands with him to make the Constituency the best in the country.

This is contained in a statement signed by Hon. Abdullahi, to express appreciation to Nigerians who made his victory possible during Saturday’s, Presidential and National Assembly elections in Niger state.

The lawmaker urged all the contestants in last Saturday’s general election to work with him to establish a CONTRACT with the people of the Constituency to send a clear message that better things are coming.

He said “gone are the days of politics of empty promises and stomach infrastructure instead of tangible and progressive change”.

Abdullahi pointed out that the improvement his constituents, and Nigerians at large desire cannot be done by individual effort or party, stressing that it will take a combined effort to address the daunting challenges that have accumulated over the years.

He maintained that he is not in politics because of personal interest; saying anyone who has followed his trajectory will attest to the fact that either as a student unionist, as a banker, an entrepreneur or as a politician, the primal purpose that drives him is the desire to better the lot of the downtrodden.

The Deputy Chairman declared that he was deeply humbled by the spark that his return bid ignited among the good people of the Bida/Gbako/Katcha Federal Constituency.

He, therefore, reaffirmed his commitment to his supporters, and remain thankful for their unwavering encouragement over the last four years.
