The governorship candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party(PDP) in Enugu state has promised to provide an enabling environment that will enable small and medium scale businness units to thrive in Enugu state by abolishing multiple taxation on such ventures.
Dr Mbah also promised to provide one hundred billion(100 billion) naira trust fund from which traders can access loans to propel their businness to grow.
The Pinnacle Oil and Gas magnate who is also diversified in some other businness ventures also promised to build special hospitals that will cater for the health needs of traders in Enugu state.
The Enugu state PDP governorship candidate revealed his packages for traders in the state on Friday,March 3,as overwhelmed traders at Ogbete Main market Enugu endorsed him as their preferred candidate in the March 11,governorship election in the state.
The chairman of Ogbete Market traders association.Mr Stephen Aniagu acknowledged Dr Mbah’s manifesto for economic development as a masterpiece and emcopassing for development of the state.Several traders spoke in same direction,defining his experience,exposure and assured commitment as the reason of their endorsement of Dr Mbah.
They expressed hope that Dr Mbah,having attained success in businness through dint of hardwork, is better placed in solving the problems of traders. in the overall interest of gingering economic growth of the state.
From all indications, the endorsement of Dr Peter Mbah by Ogbete market traders is a great boost in his chances of winning the March 11 governorship election.This is based on the fact that Ogbete Main market is the biggest market in Enugu state with thousands of traders under it,s organised union known as ‘OMATA’.
The endorsement of Mbah by Ogbete market traders is seemingly the highest from every other market union in Enugu state in view of their numerical strenght.
Dr Mbah equally visited traders at ‘Relief market popularly known as New market’thereafter. The visits are part of activities of rounding up his vigorous but exciting campaigns,which enabled him to note and articulate peculiar need of each community in Enugu state into models,for even development of the state,when he assumes office, by the special grace of God.
