……Condemn INEC over flops in the 2023 election,Appeals to the Judiciary to dispense justice and defend the truth.

A socio political pressure group known as ‘Supreme Council of Southern Nigeria Youths’ has called on the governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria(CBN).Mr Gifdwin Emefiele to reverse the cashless policy it introduced in the economy and for the sake of national interest to resign as CBN governor
The group described the cashless policy as inhiman which has inflicted series of untold hardship on Nigerians,led to premature desth in several instances.
The Supreme Council of Southern Nigeria Youths(SCOSNY) lashed Emefiele over the ugly and negative effects of the cashless policy while reviewing the state of the nation during it’s National conference held at Roban hotels Enugu,from 24th yo 25th March.
In a 12 point communique signed by it’s National President,Ambassador Arthur Obiora and National secretary,Evangelist Samuel Brown,SCOSNY stated
“The Central Bank Governor,Mr Godwin Emefiele should reverse and regret his inhumane cashless policy,apologise to Nigerians and resign with immediate effect for his hsrdness of heart,ineptitude professional quackness and administrative incapacity which has come to bear through his obnonoxious financial policy which has pushed Nigetians into quagmire and untold hardship,suffering,hunger,misery,business frustration and premature death to innocent Nigerians”
SCOSNY also took a swipe at independent National Electoral Commission(INEC) for it’s poor conduct of the 2023 general elections and appealed to the judiciary to lives up to expectstions in dispense of justice in the election petitions.
“in as much as we condemn the process of 2023 elections on the ground of INEC not living up to expectations of the entire Nigerians ,we caution the judiciary to prove to Nigerians its integrity,justice and credibilty in defending the truth and giving rights to the owners in the just concluded 2023 elections”.
In the communique,SCOSNY expressed gratitude to Predident Muhammadu Buhari for ensuring power shift to Southern Nigeria and urged the president elect ,Asiwaju Bola Tinubu,to leave no stone unturned in his bid to restore the nation’s lost glory.
Among other decisions reached in the Enugu National conference,SOSNY called for proper restructuring of the nation’s socio political economy to enable Southern Nigeria have a fair share of the benefits, in as much as most of the resources are harvested from the region.
It also called for the decentralisation of the Nigerian police,as a measure of checkmating high rate of insecurity and corruption in the country.
