By Felix Khanoba

The Industrial Training Fund, ITF, has distanced itself from fake recruitment advertisement making the rounds on social media, urging Nigerians to ignore such.

This is contained in a statement signed by the Director, Public Affairs Department of ITF, Mrs. Suleyol Fred Chagu.

According to the statement, “Let the pubic please be aware that there is no recruitment exercise going on in the Industrial Training Fund.

“These Individuals are only out to deceive and defraud the unsuspecting public”.

The statement also noted that “some unscrupulous individuals created a fake profile and page of the Fund’s Director-General/Chief Executive on LinkedIn and Facebook using the telephone number ‪07025143825‬”.

It however, warned the public not to fall victim to the antics of fraudsters who are bent on using the name of the organisation to defraud Nigerians through fake recruitment.
