The APC Grassroots Governance Group APC G3 has congratulated the former Governor of Abia State, Senator Orji Kalu on his 63rd birthday.
APC G3 said Sen. Kalu has played a significant role in the history of Nigeria and will be remembered as one of those that engineered the return to democracy in 1999.
The press release signed by APC G3 Chairman, Board of Trustees, Ambassador Jerry Ugokwe, Chairman, Advisory Board, Prof. Ojo Emmanuel Ademola and National Coordinator, Amechi Chuks Oyema, said that Sen. Kalu has continued to play a role in strengthening the legislative arm of the government.
The group said the political career of Sen. Kalu has exemplified determination and tenacity towards upholding democracy across the length and breadth of Nigeria.
APC G3 said Sen. Kalu has built bridges across the length and breadth of Nigeria, courting friends irrespective of tribe and religion.
The former Abia State Governor will be 63 on Friday, 21st April.
