GPMI to hold world press conference June 8, 2023, over EFCC boss, Zamfara state governor

A London based anti corruption crusader group with members in 25 countries, Global Peace Movement International UK said it is investigating the faceoff between the Chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC).

The President General of the group, Dr. Mike Uyi stated this in a press release on Thursday in London that GPMI as an anti curruption organisation is already investigating all alleged accusations against the Chairman of EFCC and shall come out with the detailed results in a world press conference by June 8, 2023.

According to him, the press conference will avail Nigerians and the whole world the opportunity to know the true story behind all these allegations.

“We at GPMI have sent some of our members to investigate what ensured between the EFCC boss and some politicians. They have stated work already and we shall tell the world what the true story is.

“We are aware that some persons who don’t want Nigeria to be free from corruption can go to any lent to frustrate the process of making Nigeria corruption free.

“June 8, 2023, we shall reveal the truth as our members are already in Zamfara and other parts of the country investigating all the alleged accusations.

“We strongly call on EFCC and her sister organizations not to be deterred by intimidation and unnecessary accusations in prosecuting any corrupt leader, including immunity-expired persons provided petitions are written against them as enshrined in the Law of the land”.
