The President of Nigeria Entrepreneurs Forum, NEF, Dr Sidney Inegbedion, has been conferred with the International Institute for Chartered Educational Practitioner’s (IICE) award.
The Award was confered on him in Abuja during the International Public Lecture on Relevance of Alternative Medicine Education in Africa organized by the African Educationists Project and Integrated Business School, Kaduna
The Institute has established charters in Nigeria, Ghana, Zimbabwe, Cameroon, South Africa, Uganda, Namibia and Botswana among other countries of the continent.
IICEP is a foremost Institution in Africa that promotes international best practices on education for Educationists and other stakeholders in the sector
The Fellowship Award was therefore conferred on the President of NEF for his contributions in spearheading and propagating the concept of Entrepreneurship Development in Nigeria.
Dr Sidney Inegbedion was accorded the recognition of serving as the Lead Facilitator for the 750 Million Dollars World Bank Assisted Nigeria COVID 19 Action Recovery and Economic Stimulus Programme – Ng cares which has provided numerous technical assistance and capacity building for the public sector and thousands of programmes to beneficiaries across Nigeria during period of challenges
The President of NEF was also recognized for his selfless service as a member of the Technical Working Group , TWG, for the preparation of the Medium Term National Development Plan 2021 – 2025 and Nigeria Agenda 2050 because he is a stakeholder in the development of Nigeria ‘s new economy, the Bio economy which seeks to strengthen the use of the nation’s natural bio resources for development in health care delivery through Alternative Medicine , Bio Pharmaceutical , Bio Medical Engineers. Bio Entrepreneurship and Bio Energy Production among others
Speaking with newsmen after receiving the Award, Inegbedion thanked the Institute for recognizing his efforts on Entrepreneurship Development not only in Nigeria but also in international community.
He expressed the hope that the Award would further encourage him to do more Towards enhancing national economic development.
