Police rescue kidnapped passengers, recover bus in Kog

The Kogi State Police Command has rescued all the passengers of Peace Mass Transport bus who were kidnapped last Wednesday.
The Public Relations Officer of the Kogi Police command, SP William Ayah, at the weekend disclosed to our correspondent that all the passengers have been rescued unhurt.
He noted that the victims have since returned to their various destinations after gaining freedom from the kidnappers.
It would be recalled that the passengers were travelling en route Kogi state when they were kidnapped, leaving only a woman and her baby behind.
The incident which occured on Wednesday July 26th, along Ogugu, in Olamaboro Local Government Area of Kogi State, indicated through a trending video, a white passanger bus belonging to the Peace Mass Transit parked close to the bush, along a major road.
It was gathered that on receiving the report, the state Police command immediately mobilised to the area and started combing the possible hideout of the hoodlums until they were rescued.
