Anambra CP allays fear over recycled old video clips

From Isaac Ojo, Nnewi

The Anambra State Commissioner of Police, Aderemi Adeoye, has allayed the fear among the people over a recircled old video clips of criminal activities.

CP Adeoye described as enemies of the people,  people sharing old video clips of the burning of a commercial bus at Nanka and killing of soldiers at Umunze, both of which happened last year, during the dark days of insecurity.

The CP who described the antics of recycling such old video clips as vile propaganda, warned purveyors of false alarm who seek to create fear in the mind of the public that they will be brought to book.

He has also tasked the Cybercrime Unit of the Nigeria Police Force(NPF) to track down those exhuming the old videos to create panic and fear among the populace.

Adeoye  re-assured Ndi Anambra that the police and other security agencies will continue to go the extra mile to secure them against agents of darkness working against the Nation.

He called on Ndi Anambra to disregard the videos and not help enemies of progress to share them.
